And a good time was had by all

The first thing Harrison wanted to do when they got to SuSu and PaPaw's was hold James and Audrey and that started a week long love affair between him and the twins! He was constantly talking to them and loving on them and making sure they were okay. When he would talk to them, they would smile and talk back and Harrison would say in his deep little voice "I think he/she likes me, see"! Emily said after they got home Thursday night, he prayed to please go back to SuSu and PaPaw's and be with the twins. I think he probably would have come home with us!

Miss Issabell here (above) didn't slow down to much to play with James and Audrey but she would stop every now and then and try to give Audrey her pappy. Her main goal last week was to see how many times she could open the pantry door! And she discovered that she can still fit into a bouncy seat so as soon as one was unoccupied, she jumped in it!

On Tuesday we took the kiddies to the park and Harrison and Issy had a ball. They kept their poor mama on her toes the whole time! James and Audrey weren't very impressed but they did enjoy swinging for a little while.

We had a wonderful week in New Orleans. It was very relaxing and we got to see a lot of family that we hadn't been able to see in a very long time because the twins were confined to the house and couldn't have visitors for so long. So it was very special to be with every one and have our children with us. And back in January Ronnie and Susan were able to move back into their house after it was flooded by Katrina. It has been a very long 2 1/2 years for them. First having to live in the upstairs part of the house for more than a year, then moving into the garage they turned into a small, one room guesthouse while they were finally able to start work on their house. They lived in that tiny space until the first of this year. It was wonderful to see them back in their beautiful home and doing better than ever!

Harrison is such a gentle and loving little boy.

They look pretty happy wouldn't you say?!

I'm so glad y'all had such a great week. Too bad none of Jon's family from Hattiesburg could make the short trip to see you while you were there. Wait, maybe they did...

We are so happy to be in our home once again, but it wasn't complete until last week when it was filled once again with the love and laughter of our children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, mothers, neices, and nephews, sisters and brother and daughters in love. These walls do not a home make.. We're home! Praise the Lord.

Welcome Home, Papoopsies and Parents!

I've sure missed seeing you all but I KNEW y'all were in long-sought-after places.

So glad it was a grand homecoming for those arriving and those waiting for your arrival.

And, wonderful to know Susan and Ronnie are home again. In their rightful place to greet you all.
