It’s the end of an era, you might say.

A few months ago I sat down and wrote a whole list of things that I wanted to get done BEFORE this here baby makes her debut into the world. Some things have been successfully accomplished, some things are only half way done and somethings, well, will probably never get done. Creating a new blog spot was one of those things on the list and I actually got it finished a while ago but have been putting off switching over.

There have been so many things that have happened on this blog almost 4 years ago.So many firsts for the twins and firsts for me and Jon as parents. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve moved and my Papoopsie Darlins have gone from 2 month premature infants that were no bigger than a minute, to almost 4 year old children that seem to grow taller and smarter and cuter every day!!

But in just 18 days it will no longer be just “livin with twins” or all about our Papoopsie Darlings so like most blogger moms out there, I decided it was necessary to create one that will include the whole family!
I try to look at our life as one big, juicy novel with a bazillion chapters in it and every time we make big decisions or have big changes come into our lives or start new phases with the kids, it’s just the beginning of a new chapter in our book. I assume this attitude I have is to keep myself from being toooooo sentimental about changes in our lives. Since things ‘round here are apt to change at any moment! It’s also something I had to learned as a young girl. So, all that being said, I say goodbye to the blog that has recorded and will preserve so many things in my children’s lives so that one day when Jon and I are old and gray, we can look thru it and laugh and cry at all the memories we have at our fingertips of the first 4 years of our most precious twins. And so that James and Audrey can look back at all the things they did and said and will know exactly who they were. And also will one day, hopefully, realize that “Hey, mama and daddy really did/do love us!”
